COURSES
Our Course Offerings
Route 1
developing language from age 3
Children who start learning when they are aged 3 to 10 will join their year group. Each class is taught in two groups—those who already speak Arabic fluently and those who do not speak Arabic. At age 11 they will go on to begin learning the GCSE curriculum.
Route 2
Fast track for older beginners
Children who start at age 10 or above as complete beginners will attend a fast track beginners class specifically for older children. They will then go on to join the Pre-GCSE and GCSE curriculum classes when they are ready.
Pre-GCSE
Intermediate level
Our Pre-GCSE students cover topics relevant to Edexel’s GCSE syllabus, which they will go on to study in the GCSE class.
We use a variety of resources including textbooks, activity books, audio and video books to provide a range of learning activities.
GCSE Qualification
advanced level
GCSE classes are managed by dedicated qualified teachers with years of experience in preparing students to undertake such exams. Our curricula are built based on Edexcel syllabus and specifications.
Adult Courses
Mature Students
We offer adult courses for parents and all other students over 18 to learn Arabic at the school. The times match with the children, so is perfect for parents. The course starts at Beginners Level and goes up to Elementary Level.
Islamic Education
the right path curriculum
We use ‘The Right Path’ curriculum which exposes very basic knowledge of Islam to young students in a child-friendly manner using illustrations, simple text and activities. The books use large illustrations which engage young students’ attention and interest as they learn the basics of Islam.
Inclusivity
education for special needs
We are proud to have created a school that is fully inclusive, that unlocks the potential in every child. Whether your child is differently abled or has learning difficulties, please contact the Principle Dr Aisha to discuss further.
School Trips
Rewards and incentives
We focus on rewarding children for their hard work and achievements during the school year. Along with star of the week and rewards gained throughout the year, we also arrange school trips for everyone at the end of the summer term. We have been to attractions such as Knockhatch Adventure Park and Fishers Farm Park. We invite the whole family to join us and engage in the celebrations of completing another successful year of Arabic learning.
TESTIMONIALS
Testimonials
Brighton & Hove City Council
Communities, Equality and Third Sector Team
We were kindly invited to the Alnoure Academy Arabic School to see how the school works so well.
We work with schools and colleges across the City in many ways. Last week it was to celebrate refugee week and this week it is about celebrating different languages. Our unique experiences help make Brighton & Hove City so vibrant.
The children are nurtured in a warm and academic environment to achieve their full potential. Some children come to learn the language for their International Baccalaureate, some adults come to learn and help their careers. The school is a great community resource for us. It provides a space to celebrate the diversity of Arabic. A language rich with science, dialects, cultures and historical changes.
Thank you to Hove Park School for providing the space.
